CMMC forDefense Subcontractors

The requirement reaches you through your customers.

Most contractors who need CMMC never signed a prime contract. The requirement arrives through clauses your customer passes down, and your customer will ask for proof.

Current status, October 15, 2026

DoD suspended CMMC Phase 2 on July 13, 2026, so third-party (C3PAO) assessments are not being required in new or existing contracts while a reform task force reviews the program. Level 1 and Level 2 self-assessments, SPRS scores, annual affirmations, and DFARS 7012 with NIST SP 800-171 still apply, and voluntary C3PAO assessments remain available. Your prime may still ask for third-party certification, so ask early what they expect. See the details.

What you get

  • A plain answer on whether CMMC applies to you
  • Help answering your prime’s security questions with evidence
  • A practical 30-day starting plan
  • Options for keeping scope small

How it works

We start with what your customers have asked for and what you actually handle, then build the smallest compliant environment. Questions? Call 877-855-CMMC. See also the CMMC overview.

Check where you stand

Take a short readiness check for CMMC Level 1, CMMC Level 2, HIPAA and HITECH, or Texas SB 2610. Not sure what applies? Book a scoping call. It works for any framework.

Results

Multiple Logos clients have passed their CMMC Level 2 C3PAO assessment with no plan of action and milestones (POA&M). Assessments are performed by independent C3PAOs.
